12 year old Logan is a downhill racer and loves all things MTB!
His family first came across CFC through our Charity Bike Shop Cheltenham and then Logan's younger brother Phoenix was unfortunately diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in his arm last year. Phoenix underwent 18 sessions of chemotherapy followed by surgery to remove the tumour and have leg bone grafted into his arm. Four months after his surgery he was still unable to walk but he managed to pedal his bike and gain enough strength in his legs to start walking.
Logan loves racing and he can be found most weekends shredding the trails and representing CFC! He bumped into Ben Deakon and Pinned TV and has made many friends through his love of MTB and counts them all as extended family.
We're so pleased to have Logan as our Youth Ambassdor and can't wait to see what this year brings! You can follow his adventures at Send It MTB Kid on Instagram.
Ruby is 14 years old and dreams of becoming a professional cyclist.
Ruby first did some fundraising for CFC back in 2020 when she shot 26 basketball hoops while cycling on rollers - we have been big fans of hers ever since!! She’s a talented young cyclist and has been road and cyclocross racing, but has recently fallen in love with track racing. Ruby says,
‘I think it is amazing what Cyclist Fighting Cancer do and it’s amazing how they are able to support so many children who are fighting cancer. I am very proud to be an ambassador for them and raise awareness for the amazing work they are doing as well as trying to raise some money for them too….’
Welcome to Team CFC Ruby, we think it's going to be an exciting year all round! You can keep up to date with all Ruby's latest news and races at Ruby Isaac on Instagram.
