What better way to celebrate that special day such as a birthday, wedding, Christmas or anniversary than helping children across the UK living with and beyond cancer.  By asking for donations instead of gifts or donating instead of sending Christmas cards you can really make a difference to the families we support and help spread the word about CFC at the same time.

1. Go to our CFC page on Facebook.
2. Personalise your page.  You can edit the title to explain what occasion you’re fundraising for, share what fundraising for CFC means to you and explain why you’re passionate about helping children and young people living with and beyond cancer.  Update the end date to after your occasion so that you can still collect donations on the day.
3. Share on your feed and across all your social media platforms.  Invite your friends, family and colleagues to donate by making sure that everyone can see it.  Thanking your friends publicly and sharing updates will help you fundraise even more.
4. Keep an eye on our social media platforms, Facebook, Instragram and Twitter and share some of the amazing stories about children we have supported.  What better way to show everyone where their donations will be going than to read about it from the families themselves.

1. Go to our CFC page on Just Giving.
2. Don’t forget to update your page to make it personal to you.  Research shows that pages with photos raise an average of 14% more per photo and aim high as pages with a target raise 46% more!
3. Spread the word about your fundraiser over social media, put a link to your page at the bottom of your email and set up a WhatsApp group so that friends, family and colleagues know what your plans are for the big day.
