Vätternrundan...

On June 11th 2009 you can be part of the largest recreational bicycle ride in the world.

The Vatternrundan is a non-competitive event (or as the Swedes call it, a 'motionslopp') over a 300km course in one of the most breathtaking areas of Northern Europe, tracing the shores of the spectacular Lake Vättern in Sweden.

The ride is open to riders over the age of 18 of all abilities and last year attracted 18,000 participants. In 2006 Cyclists Fighting Cancer took 15 riders and a gaggle of spectators to the event and raised a great sum for the charity in the process.
