| THREE FAT LADS ON BIKES - JOHN O'GROATS TO LAND'S END | |||||

 On the 31st of May 2008, Mike Darch, Emerson Osmond and, CFC's own web editor, Luke Pickering (aka The Three Fat Lads on Bikes) completed a 1,000 mile bike ride from John O'Groats to Land's End. The Epic ride took 13 days and the lads battled through all weather conditions, something that 'Team CFC' will attest to having joined them from Cheltenham to Cheddar in a Bank Holiday deluge. 
The boys came through several injuries to complete the ride and raised a spectacular £5,500 for CFC in the process. Thanks to their efforts CFC was able to fully fund the purchase of Sophie Eggerton's new bike. Luke tried to keep a blog going on the ride but things got so heavy that updates dwindled a bit in the middle stages. Still, it's all there for posterity at www.threefatladsonbikes.co.uk.
